Professional portfolio of 3D artist Kamil Wiktor
We helped Kamil Wiktor, a 3D artist and sculptor, launch a professional portfolio based on the Veil template from Tess Themes. Quickly, at an affordable price and with full control over the content in Keystatic CMS.
About the client
Kamil Wiktor is a 3D artist and sculptor who wanted a simple but convincing online portfolio. He lacked the budget for a full development cycle, and at the same time – as a visual artist – he needed a site that looks professional and elegant. A cheap "made by AI" site was out of the question.
Quality without the budget for a full cycle
Kamil needed a site that would present his work in a professional light, but he did not have the funds for a from-scratch build. Cheap AI generators were out of the question – as a visual artist he could not afford a look that would damage his image.
As an artist I could not present my work on a site that looks AI-generated. I needed something simple and elegant, but without the budget for a full build.
Limited budget
No funds for a full design and development cycle
Risk of "AI slop"
Cheap AI-generated sites do not meet the standards of a visual artist
Need for a professional look
The site had to showcase the work, not distract from it
Domain and maintenance
Kamil wanted his own address and zero worries about hosting and updates
The Veil template: a quick start with the quality an artist deserves
We suggested the Veil template from Tess Themes – our gallery of hand-crafted templates. Simple, elegant and black-and-white, it puts Kamil's work front and centre instead of distracting from it. We bought and configured the domain and deployed the site on our infrastructure for a small annual fee. Kamil edits the content in the simple, intuitive Keystatic CMS, and the site itself is fully static – built in Astro and prerendered, which delivers excellent performance and high SEO results.
Technologies used
The template is based on Astro and TypeScript, the design was prepared in Figma, and the site was deployed on our infrastructure (Hetzner).
Project timeline
The whole thing – from first contact to a finished, deployed site waiting to be edited in the CMS – took less than a week.
